Program Setting Category - Offer
The Offer Category includes the following Program Settings.
Place Integration ID Override
This Program Setting allows the client to use a custom Member Attribute as an alternative to the standard Place Integration ID and to link to this Place Integration ID to determine the time zone for a location, store, or property in a Member Profile. This setting is required to be configured if the program is using Offer Effectivity based on a Member's preferred location, and if the program has a custom Attribute for locations.
For clients who have enabled a custom Attribute, such as favorite store, favorite location, or preferred property, the standard Place Integration ID requires an override in order for this capability to apply the location time zone properly.
-
On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Place Integration ID Override setting.
-
From the Value drop-down menu, select the desired custom Member Attribute.
-
Click Save.
Certificate Generation Defaults
The platform maintains default values for the following fields when auto-generating certificate codes: Code Prefix, Length of Code, and Excluded Characters. When you auto-generate certificate codes, the platform will automatically populate these fields with the default values stored within this Program Setting. You can edit these default values on the Program Settings screen as described below. You can also edit these values when auto-generating certificate codes (see Auto-Generate Certificate Codes for more information on this process).
To edit this Program Setting:
-
On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Certificate Generation Defaults setting.
-
In the Length of Code field, enter the character length for the certificate code value.
-
In the Code Prefix field, optionally enter a prefix to be inserted before the code value (if defined, the code prefix doesn't count towards the length entered above).
-
From the Excluded Characters drop-down menu, optionally select a letter or number to be excluded from the code. Repeat this step as needed to exclude additional characters.
Note: The recommended best practice is to exclude the following characters: 0,O,o,1,I,i,l,6,A,E,I,U,G,g,Q,q,5,S,s,a,b,c,d,e,f,h,j,k,m,n,p,r,t,u,v,w,x,y,z
